RIP: Last Moments of Kirinyaga Painter Whose Body Was Found Dumped in Rice Farm

Residents of Kangai village in Mwea, Kirinyaga county were left in shock after the body of a 66 year old man identified as Isaac Kifundi who had gone missing for 3 days was found dumped in a rice farm.

According to his family, he was last seen on Wednesday at his casual painting job at a club. They filed a missing persons report at Kiamaciri police station.

Search efforts ended in pain after villagers informed them that a body had been found dumped in a rice farm.

Kifundi's face had serious bruises making it hard for the villagers to positively identify him until his family was called to the scene.

According to residents, there have been many cases of people being killed and their bodies dumped in rice farms.

The sad incident was confirmed by police commander William Koskei who said that investigations have already commenced.

Isaac's body is currently lying at Kibugi funeral home awaiting a postmoterm examination.
