On the day of Monday 5th December, 2022, allegedly a 29 year old woman was just murdered by her only husband inside their homestead for failing to come back home early enough in Githurai 45 Nairobi.
The deceased wife identified as Florence Kaari reportedly passed out the same day while receiving medications and treatments after severely injured on the head by the husband using a blunt object.
Househelp ( maid) known as Kaimenyi Ruth spoke Infront of the news media and confessed that Florence's husband arrived at the household drunk at around 1am night and kicked Florence out of the house.
The househelp, Kaimenyi also told the news media that Florence's husband arrived home and asked of Florence's whereabout and after receiving the responses from Kaimenyi that Florence had not yet arrived home then he urged Kaimenyi to move out of the house.
Thirty minutes later is the time Florence arrived being accompanied by a friend
and asked the house help why she was outside and Kaimenyi replied to her that all was about the husband, immediately Florence decided to knock the door for the husband to open for them the door.
After that was unexpected outcome since exchange of blows between Florence and the husband.
Shortly one of the children who was woken up by the noice quickly Ren out of the house and told the people outside the house that the mother, Florence had been hit on the head and she was bleeding.
The househelp Kaimenyi further revealed to the news media that the husband failed to control his attitude and he was strong for them to prevent them fighting.
Florence's father said his son-in-law called him on Monday morning and told him that his daughter had died during the night and revealing that Florence had taken poison by herself.
Florence's father then further revealed to the media by asking how Florence took poison despite the room filled with blood.
The OCPD of Kasarani then confirmed the incidence that happened and ss aid that the investigations are still going on.
