Residents of Runyenjes in the larger Embu County have woken up to the shocking scenes of a dead corpse lying on the roadside near the area chief's office.
According to Ravine news the body was identified as that of Njue Mbaka who works in the nearby market as a casual labourer. Many suspect Njue was murdered before his body dumped there. As of writing this article, those responsible for this sickening act are yet to be apprehended and so is their motive.
The deceased body was taken to Tenri funeral home awaiting an autopsy examination to determine the exact cause of his untimely death.

As is with most parts of the country, crime rate has increased as many youths have lost employment as a result of the prevailing covid pandemic. Crime is however never the answer as its not sustainable in the long run.
Residents are also urged to solve their differences in a professional way and not law into their hands.
