Heavy rainfall is expected over several parts of the country as from today until Monday next. According to the report shared by the Kenya Meteorological Department through their official social media platforms, Highlands West of Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin and the Central and South Rift Valley including Kisii, Nyamira, Trans Nzoia, Baringo, Uasin Gishu, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Kericho, Nakuru, Bometi, Kisumu, Migori, Homabay, Busia, Kericho, Nakuru and Narok are expected to receive rains as from today afternoon.
Sunny intervals during the morning hours are expected over several places. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected are expected over several areas. Therefore members of the country public especially those living in the mentioned parts of the country urged to prepare adequately before that time comes.
Report indicates that rainfall is expected to continue over several parts of the country as from today afternoon. Most parts of the country are likely to receive rains this afternoon. Especially parts of Kisii, Nyandarua, Thika and Kiambu.
Isolated storms are likely to occur over some parts of the south eastern lowlands. Parts of North Western Kenya are likely to be generally dry.
