3 Teachers Died On The Spot In A Road Accident Involving A Lorry And A Nissan Along Narok-Mahiu Road

Three teachers died on the spot in a road accident involving a lorry and a Nissan along Narok-Mahiu Road.

Narok road traffic police officer Caroline Kirop who confirmed the incident said the accident happened at around 6pm on Thursday evening.

According Kirop, the lorry that was carrying sugarcane was heading towards Mahiu while the Matatu was ferrying passengers to Narok town before the accident happened.

Caroline said the Matatu was moving at a high speed when it suffered a tyre burst and rolled severally.

The driver who also drunk before the accident happened, is still at large living passengers stranded

The Matatu has no RSL and the security officers now say that there is no sacco called Galaxy Luxury.

The security officers have harrased TRANSLINE GALAXY and GALAXY EXPRESS believing the vehicle belongs to the two saccos.

The three people who lost their lives were identified as Jecton Okach, Jack Kings and Michael Njoroge. The trio are between the age of 23 and 27 respectively.

Their bodies were moved to Bomet town hospital mortuary pending further investigations.
