Before you share your news from Twitter to any other platform, you might want to do your due diligence and check the authenticity of the news. This is because you might end up sharing false information from a hacked account.
According to reports that were shared by a reliable source, a popular news company known as TV47 is counting losses after its Tits Twitter account was hacked. The sad news was shared by the respective company on their Facebook page in a bid to keep Kenyans alert for fake news.
The hacked Twitter account goes by the handle @tv47ke and has over 100,000 followers.
Even though it is not clear what might have led to the comprising of the account or the people behind the action, the company has assured Kenyans that they are taking remedial action.
