A truck accident is reported to have happened along Kanduyi-Malaba road on Thursday morning. According to reports, the truck involved in the accident was transporting fuel.
Sources indicated that locals from the nearby Buema village ran to the scene of the accident with buckets to siphon the fuel from the tanker. Some good Samaritans could be heard warning those siphoning the fuel from a video which was taken at the scene.
No fatalities have been reported from the accident so far. Police officers are yet to arrive at the scene. More reports to follow...
Concerns
Kenyans should stop doing such things whenever accidents involving fuel tankers occur. This is because if the tanker happens to explode many people are going to lose their lives.
