
Nairobi County governor Johnson Sakaja makes a critical announcement on Night Clubs, Bars, and Restaurants in the city. On Friday, the 25th of November, the City Governor, Sakaja Johnson said that many complaints of noise pollution have been reported in the county offices.
Consequently, the governor rules that there will be no more nightclubs in residential areas from now henceforth.
Besides, He ordered all liquor-selling premises in the county to provide sufficient parking for the clients to avoid congestion, and vehicles parked out of their generated space will be impounded.

Additionally, the governor said that the Bars and Restaurants in the residential areas are strictly required to be closed at 2200 Hours.
"Henceforth, nightclub licenses will be issued to premises only within the Central Business District and specified streets in other non-residential areas," he added.
