A woman is currently in police custody after one of her boy friends was killed in a physical alteration with their rival at Mwiki Estate. The assailant is said to have escaped the crime scene after he noticed that he had hit the victim identified as David Maina on the head was bleeding profusely.
According to Tuko.co.ke digital media news platform, confirming the incident Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) detective Donald Kipkorir said that the David was inside the house waiting for Monica Njeri who is a waitress at a local bar. The two had agreed to a one night stand but unexpectedly found David waiting for her as he had made plans to spend the night together.
What become as a verbal exchange turned nasty when they two started fighting leading to the suspecting hitting David with a stone on his head. The body was taken by police to the Mortuary while Njeri was arrested and taken for interrogation.
