University student, a notorious knife-wielding mugger operating in Huruma, Kariobangi arrested
The suspected thug was on Saturday, November 19 nabbed by police who were o patrolling along the Nairobi Outering Road.
The proverbial 40 days of a thief reached for one Dickson Gatonga Njeri, who was apprehended by police officers who had tracked his phone signal.
Njeri is said to be a led mugger and was positively identified by members of the public.
Upon inspection, police officers found a kitchen knife from him. He was locked up in police cells pending his preparation and arraignment on Monday, November 21.
"The officers in Nairobi County is still recording great success in the fight against robbery by maintaining law and order.
"We laud the public for working close with the police and for giving information leading to the successful apprehension," adds the NPS.
Investigations are still underway following the arrest.
This comes barely few days when three murgers were arrested along Thika road.
