Gilbert Kiprotich, a police officer attached to Maili Saba as Anti-Stock Theft police allegedly caught his wife Joyce Nyakui red-handed with her lover Paul Mbugua in his house in Magadi, Laikipia county.
According to an eye witness, the policeman's wife was nursing serious injuries with deep cuts, it is said that the man beat her endlessly but her alleged lover managed to escape the thorough beating.
It is said that the policeman's wife received a beating that she could not be treated well in Rumuruti District Hospital and hence she was transferred to Nyahururu County Referral Hospital.
It is said that the policeman arrived at his house at around 11 pm when nobody expected only to find his wife having fun with her boyfriend. He immediately attacked the duo, but luckily the boy made his way out of the house leaving his lover to face the music.
The lady had deep cuts on both her hands and her knee. The suspect was arrested while he was in the hospital's compound, he is currently at Nyahururu Police Station waiting for further action.
