Incidents of fire in Nairobi have been on the rise but the Nairobi County Fire Department has always been on standby to ensure that these fires are contained on time to avoid any loss of life or property.

This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have received from Kangemi Estate in Nairobi County, a fire is said to have razed down property worth millions of shillings.
It is believed that the huge fire had started from one of the houses in the area, but then again, the distraught residents could not pinpoint the exact location.
Police officers from the area are said to have had a hard time in controlling the crowd that was operating under immense panic.

The fire is said to have started at around 12:40AM and until the morning, it was still burning although the fire department had done their best to control it.
No fatalities were reported from the fire that burnt down a section of Kangemi Estate last night as per the reports that we have with us.
