Tout shot and seriously injured by gunman in Allsops in a scuffle, Nairobi County.
Police in Nairobi are now tracing for the suspect who reportedly fled the scene after the incident.
"The suspect is alleged to have fled shortly after the 8 pm case and the reason behind the incident is yet to be established." Said a source privy to the incident.
The tout sustained serious injuries during the incident.
The bullet smashed the windshield and hit the victim who was seated behind thevehicle.
The tout was taken to the nearby hospital where he was examined and the trace for the suspect ensued.
In a separate story, two robbery with violence suspects were shot dead by police officers in Kangundo Road, Nairobi County.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations revealed that the duo were part of a gang that has been stealing from residents at night.
Police said during the melee a firearm loaded with two rounds of 9mm calibre was seized and taken to DCI ballistic experts for analysis.
Meanwhile, the police are still investigating the incident.
