Divine who is currently 18 years old tells the story of how she got married at an early age then lost her husband when she was 15 years old due to insecurity in their area leaving her with two kids.
Going back,she says she was born in Minembwe village area where local wars happen every now and then due to this people are always fleeing which makes it difficult to study so she was forced to drop off and get married at the age of 14 at this time she was in her first year of highschool.
Minembwe has been volatile for decades and it became upsurge in violence in the year 2016 and more in 2018 it is the main home of the Banyamulenge community who are mainly cattle herders.
Divine says her husband was shot and killed by robbers who were on a raid for cattle because it's their main source of income the robbers found him in the cowshed and killed him at this time she was pregnant with her second born.
When the husband died she was always scared because peace and safety is not guaranteed in that area however she was lucky to get a Samaritan who flew her to Rwanda and catered for her expenses and she is really thankful.
She however says that she worries about her old mother who is still in Minembwe and wishes she could also be able to bring her to Rwanda because the area has still not gained stability she is therefore pleading for help with that.
Divines continues to say that she would wish to go back to school because she had realized education is the key and wishes the same for her two young boys.
She is therefore pleading with well-wishers to help her pay school fees for herself so that she can be able to get a good job and also wishes the same for her two kids who are yet to join school.
