The nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has now broken her silence over yesterday's incidence where she found it rough at the funeral Of Mzee Abel Gongera, a father to Deputy governor of Kisii County Joash Maangi.
"About yesterday, I was to speak at the event but Gov Ongwae refused to give me the mic bcoz of my political persuasion yet he planned to give other women leaders a chance to speak. This is the discrimination I rejected before hired goons were persuaded accost me. I'm unbowed! https://t.co/xTQh9OALPD"
Omanga was heckled by the BBI supporters after Kisii Governor Ongwae denied her a mike to speak. Omanga has now termed those leaders who were in charge of the funeral service as incompetent, people who don't have respect.
Millicent Omanga now clarified that the funeral was at Bomachoge village Where she is married. She argue that there is Noway they can deny her the right to speak yet she is a leader who comes from the place.
Here is what she said;
"For clarity, the funeral was at Bomachoge where I'm married and thus it goes without saying that as a leader from the area I deserved to speak. Sijui MC aluogopa nini." Millicent said.
