Reports on our desks this afternoon is that there has been a bloody scene in Trans Nzoia County where a police officer is said to have shot one person dead.

The incident that took place in Syprus Village in Kwanza Sub County in the vast county of Trans Nzoia has shocked the otherwise quiet neighborhood.
The report, from TV47 Kenya indicate that the police officer was in confrontation with the alleged man before he shot him dead on the spot.
Several rounds of ammunition have been recovered from the bloody scene that has angered locals who were baying for the blood of the officers.
The police reservist and his colleague were aboard a motorbike when the incident happened and in the ensuing chaos they managed to escape into the unknown.
Their motorbike is said to have been set ablaze and burnt to ashes at the scene of the shooting that happened a few moments ago.
It's still unclear as to what the two were quibbling about when the shooting occured leaving one dead.
