An accident that involved three vehicles ,a person car,a trailer and pickup truck at sachang'wan area left one person dead and other three injured.
The driver of the trailer died on spot.The passenger on the personal car and two in the pickup truck were injured and rushed to Nakuru hospital.
The accident happened along the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.
One of the witness Rachael Maru explained how the accident happened,the trailer being the main cause of the accident.. "The trailer had failed brakes and rammed into a private car which had four passengers on board. It then crashed into a pickup truck belonging to the United Nations which had two people on board," said Racheal.
Another witness said that stopped because of the barrier that was placed in the middle of the highway to control traffic flow.
"The trailer careened along the highway for more than a hundred meters occasionally ramming into the barrier. It then knocked the two vehicles off the road. Without the barrier there would have been more casualties," he said.
Unfortunately,the trailer failed brakes and rammed into the private car,where one passenger was injured,the trailer then crashed into a pickup truck that belonged to the United Nations which had two passengers who were also injured.
