The lifeless body of a middle-aged robber found floating on a river

Lifeless body of middle-aged robber resurfaces on the surface of the river in Tana River County.

This took place on Monday evening amid tensions brought about by murderers from various parts of the country.

This is according to the Twitter post by The Standard Digital Newspaper.

"Lifeless body of a man suspected to be a thief has been found floating on river Tana, just days after an area resident reported missing iron sheets at a construction site." The statement read in part.

In a post shared by the standard Digital, the man alongside another missing teenager are believed to have conspired in stealing iron sheets.

Further, the two were later rushed to the nearby police station after which when an investigation was launched.

The late thief alongside his accomplice reportedly fled from the police line today when the body was discovered floating on the surface of the river.

Polices who responded to the scene transferred his body to the mortuary pending autopsy.

Locals shocked by the sad turn of events have now urged the police to carryout investigations leading to the incident, demanding for justice of the deceased boy.
