Children's are young people who are under protection and care of their parents or their guarduans. Whenever a child is conceived, it is a blessing from God and each parent is entitled to care for his or her child well. Reports of parents neglecting their rights of protecting their children has been on the rise hence possing a danger to these little children.
Shock has engufled many people after hearing that a woman allegedly threw her kid inside a dam in Baringo County. It was reported that a lady named Daisy Chepkirui, a Tugen female aged 32 years had thrown her child into a dam within Naitili Village. Police visited the area of the scene which is about 15km East of the Eldama Ravine Police Station and established that the said suspect drowned her baby namely Briton Kiprono. Kiprono was 4 months old and was drawn into the dam today at around 06:00hrs very early in the morning.
The police later retrieved the body and taken it to Eldama Ravine Sub-County Hospital morgue as they continue with the investigations.
