Sombre mood engulfed Marmanet Ward in Laikipia county as a student who brutally murdered by her boyfriend was laid to rest.
The late Purity Wangechi Karinga's body was found dumped in Mburiria village Kiambu few days ago. Sources revealed that he was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend (DJ Flex) after Purity confronted him over theft allegations. Fellow Kenya Institute of Mass Communication student held a peaceful demonstration yesterday to denounce the barbaric act. 
Candle lighting session was also performed by her fellow college mates for remembrance. Opera fraternity wishes to send our deep heartfelt condolences to relatives and friends, may her soul rest in eternal peace Amen. DCI sleuths arrested four suspects in connection with Wangechi's brutal murder, they will be arraigned in court again after fourteen days pending investigation.
