A devastated family in GilGil is crying for justice after their 21 year-old daughter was brutally murdered. The family has since broken silence after her body was found dumped in a sack.
The body of Angeline Mary Wangui was found murdered on Jamhuri day. It was found at Ngata bridge along Nakuru- Eldoret highway. James Maina, her father, told our sources that he last spoke to her on 11 December, 2022.
According to the deceased's sister, she had informed her that she was heading to her friends party. Her sister said, "She said she would not like to miss it, promising to return in the morning."
Her father who was called up to Nakuru by his pastor could not believe what had happened. Mr. Maina said, "We proceeded to Nakuru Mortuary where we identified it. It was heartbreaking. Losing a child mysteriously is very hearting. She died a painful death. We just want justice."
