Woman attacked and stabbed to death by three thugs while resting inside her hotel, Nairobi County.
Police in Pangani, Nairobi, are now probing the circumstances under which the deceased met her death.
On the same, a trace for the three robbers who reportedly killed the woman inside the city hotel is underway.
In a report obtained by the press, Florence Mwinzi was attacked by three armed men on the night of Sunday, July 3, 2022, inside her hotel.
Police reported that the gangsters stabbed the lady in the abdomen, leaving her lying unconscious.
"The sister to the deceased said that trio stormed the deceased hotel on 3/7/2022 at 9:00 pm unaware and stabbed her in her abdomen and escaped," the statement read out.
Mwinzi was taken to the nearby clinic before being taken to Kenyatta National Hospital (KTRH) for specialised treatment.
Sadly, she passed away while undergoing medical treatment.
The body of Florence was later transferred to the Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary pending autopsy.
