A mother and her son have been arrested and they are at Gesonso police post in Kisii county after they allegedly killed her husband. The chief of Bogiakumu sub-location Mr. Elvis Onyancha said that the woman with her son killed the husband yesterday.
It was reported that the son came home at night while drunk and found his mother quarrelling with his father. So the son joined and they started hitting the husband. The wife strungled the man who breathed the last breath.
The 11 years old boy who reported all that happened said that he saw all that was happening to his grandfather but he was not able to assist, even the woman confessed having killed her husband saying that she was tired of his quarells and the husband's death was good riddance.
Villagers who gathered in small groups talked in low tones. The body of the deceased was taken to Kisii Teaching and refferal hospital for postmortem.
The suspects will taken to court once investigations are complete. May the deceased's soul rip.
