KCSE Candidate Dies Mysteriously, Police Starts Investigations

As Kenyans prepare for the much-anticipated Christmas celebrations, the country is hit by a slew of natural disasters. It's only been a few days since Chogoria Girls School pupils died in a tragic car accident. A KCSE aspirant has died in yet another incident. The Form Four student died unexpectedly at Kopiyo Village in Rachuonyo East Sub County, according to police in Homa Bay County.

Philip Olero, a student at Kilusi Secondary School, was discovered dead in his grandmother's house where he had been resting on Monday morning. According to Kilusi Sub-location Assistant Chief Anne Otieno, the student's body was discovered by a friend who had gone to speak with him about getting a job in the area.

According to the administrator, the student's body was free of injuries, leaving the reason of death a mystery. Justus Kucha, the Rachuonyo East Sub-County Police Commander, verified the occurrence and added that investigations have begun. The body was taken to the mortuary of the Rachuonyo South Sub-County Hospital for a postmortem.
