He lifted the dawn to dusk curfew which had been effected by the government in 2020 when the Covid-19 pandemic started wreking havoc in Kenya.
However, the president did not talk about the closure of bars and restaurants.There was confusion on Tuesday night as the Ministry of Interior Security through its media pages announced that bars and restaurants would still be closed early as per the Ministry of Health protocols on coronavirus.
CS Ministry of Health, Mutahi Kagwe clarified the matter some minutes to four PM today in a presser.The CS made it clear that restaurants and bars would be closed at 11 PM.
He urged Kenyans not to lower their guard and turn out in numbers for vaccination.In the meantime, please feel free to share your thoughts on the issue through commenting.
