Kaka Empire's very own rapper, Femi One, has boldly come out to put a light on the worrying rising cases of rape and murder injustices among Kenyan Women that have been going unspoken in recent times. Femi one joins a number of other high profile female artists in Kenya who have in recent times put their weight behind the disturbing rising cases among women, both young and old, some of them being acts like; Murasta, Nyota Ndogo, Nazizi and Songbird Jovial.
Femi One's Declaration comes at the backdrop of an ongoing alleged murder and rape case of the slain NLC Interim Director of Communications, Madam Jenniffer Wambua, whose body was found by herders in the Embul bul Area of Kerarapon Kajiado County last Saturday. Even though investigations are still going on, Wambua's family has been left to bear the pain of it all as nobody still has any concrete information as to how she was way laid from her Upper-hill office up untill Kajiado county as forensic evidence show she had been violated before being strangled.
A concerned Femi One, pictured above, took to her instagram page to post a published obituary of yet another young lady by the name Velvine Nungari Kinyanjui who also had suffered rape before she then was murdered only to be pronounced deceased at the Kenyatta University Teaching Referral and Research Hospital. Femi One called upon fellow women to voice up against these rising cases that have mysteriously remained unspoken on mainstream media as she penned a heartfelt mention as shown in the captures below;
