Mutahi Issues New Covid Directives, Gives Churches and The Transport Sector a Reason to Smile

New orders from the Cabinet Secretary in charge of health go into force today. The curfew has been extended for another thirty days as part of the latest mandate to keep the virus from spreading even as infection rates continue to fall. He, on the other hand, argues that we are still on the hook.

The transport industry, on the other hand, was relieved when the cabinet secretary stated that full capacity will be maintained because the sector has complied with the instruction. Churches and houses of worship have also been given permission to continue their programming as long as they follow the Covid-19 guidelines.

Restaurants, bars, and diners, on the other hand, have been instructed to maintain social distance while continuing to serve their customers. This latest decision has disappointed several Kenyans, who had hoped for the curfew to be abolished.
