Cases of young children going missing and later being found dead have recently been on high rise in our country, Kenya.
Today Friday 19th August, 2022, body of a 4-year-old child has been found floating in well known Masinga dam in Mbeere South, Embu County after mysteriously going missing from home. According to the sources, the body of the young kid was sadly found floating in Masinga dam by her father together with his accomplishments who were busy searching for her.
The matter was reported to the Mbeere South police who with the help of the residents arrived and retrieved the body from water and moved it to Embu Level 5 Hospital morgue for preservation. The circumstances under which the young kid died has however not yet been established as police kick off their investigations. This sad incident was confirmed by the Mbeere South Assistant Police Commander Inviolata Lumati.
Parents have been advised to be more watchful to their children and ensure that they are safe wherever they are.
