At the Navakholo sub-County Hospital, the suspect had asked the medics to let him stay the night with his sick daughter who was suffering from malaria.
A mom who was nursing her sick child at the time and saw the heinous conduct reported the occurrence.
According to Richard Omanga, the sub-county police commander for Navakholo, police personnel who attended the hospital confirmed that the girl had in fact been defiled.
"Our investigators investigated the event at the hospital after receiving the report and discovered that the girl had been violated."
"The man returned late that night without the money he had gone home to look for. Then he asked to be permitted to stay in the ward overnight till the next morning, but instead he defiled the daughter," Omanga alleged.
The man reportedly only lived with his daughter after divorcing his wife.
