A love story turned tragic in Rabango,siaya township ward after a 28 year old stabbed his 22 year old girlfriend to death.
Cornfirming the incident the OCPD of siaya Benedict Mwagangi stated that the two had rented a house in the outskirts of the town prior to the incident had a disagreement over infidelity.
The argument turned into a phyiscal altercation that saw the suspect stab the deceased to death.
According to the locals the deceased who was bruttally murdered was unable to get help from neighbors because of the heavy downpour.
The OCPD said that the suspect had gone missing after the incident,but he surrendered at the siaya police station where he is currently being held.
The police recovered a bloos stained knife and blood stained clothes.The items are being secured for further investigations.
The body of the deceased was taken to siaya referral mortuary.The family of the deceased were in shock and hope they will find justice.
