President William Ruto's daughter Charlene Ruto has been making headlines in the recent days following his numerous journeys and meetings with top county officials across the country. Charlene also flew out of the country where she represented Kenyans on some forum leaving Kenyans questioning her position in Ruto's administration.
Today, Charlene has also hit the headline after her visit to Langata Primary School which is just adjacent to his father's hotel, Weston Hotel. It's remembered that several years back, Ruto was allegedely prosecuted for allegedely trying to take some part of Langata Primary School to be a parking lot. This sparked a protest from the pupils who were teargassed by the police.
Charlene today visited the school where enjoyed bread and soda with children at Langata Primary School. This was after she had visited Kariobangi south where she was captured in a local hotel having some milkshake.
"I felt so nostalgic as they narrated their dreams and aspirations while we sat together enjoying bread with soda," she said.
