While speaking on Citizen TV Kenya, on aTuesday, 7 November, Ngilu has promised that the government is going to support all the families that lost the loved ones.
"The government is going to support all the families individually," She said.
She also noted the government is going to ensure that the bridge is not a death trap. Urging drivers to avoid driving by a swollen river.
"The government is going to take serious action & ensure the bridge isn’t a death trap. I would like to urge all drivers not to drive by a swollen," Charity Ngilu noted.
Either, Ngilu blamed the contractor saying that he did a shobby work on the bridge and left. However, she noted that the National government has taken the job.
"The contractor did a shoddy work on the bridge & left but the national government has taken up the job This is the last time we are going to mourn our people," she said.
