A deadly accident involving several vehicles has been reported along a major road in Nakuru County.
Reliable sources from the county have revealed that several people have lost their lives after the accident which involved several PSV matatus and a long-distance trailer
Sikika Road Safety has shared scary pictures from the accident scene, noting that the accident happened at Ng'ata Bridge in Nakuru County.
Based on the pictures shared on social media, several passengers have lost their lives. Several victims were still at the scene.
"The crash at Ngata is not looking good at all‼️.....many people might not go home ever again," Sikika Road Safety update read.
"Several lives lost in an accident involving several Matatus and a trailer at Ng'ata Bridge, Nakuru," another source said.
While what exactly triggered the accident is not known yet, overtaking along the bridge or while moving towards and away from the bridge is one of the causes of the many accidents that happen on Kenya roads.
Bridges are one of the black spots on Kenyan roads.
