Doctors vows to protest if what was signed down by the government for implementation of 2017-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement fails to bear fruits.
The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacist and Dentist union secretary spoke on Saturday after a two day meeting held in Nakuru.
He said the Collective Bargaining Agreement was signed after a protracted strike but now seems to be ignored by the government.
Doctors along with their grievances which included salary increments, intern posting.
Netizens on social media reacted by saying that for now the government seems to be broke and there is no money increment the doctors are going to get, since the government is also appealing for well wishers and even also the working class to submit a percent of their salaries to the draught response kitty. The money contributed will help in Mitigation of hunger and draught. The money will help feeding hunger striken counties in Kenya.
