In a series of uploads made on Facebook, the deceased was reported missing after he failed to show up for work for several days. This was followed by a dramatic scene after his colleagues launched a search in attempts to trace the whereabouts of the man.
However, it has been reported that the missing police officer was found dead in his homestead with a rope tied in his neck with his body hanging on a tree with the first responders claiming that he might have committed suicide after the evaluation of the scene.
The death of the officer has sparked alot of mixed reactions from Kenyans who seemed to have been confused on why there was an increasing number of dying police officers who are increasingly committing suicide.
With a section of Kenyans claiming that maybe this was because fact that most of these officers fall into depression with no one to talk to, others went ahead and called upon the government to consider introducing monthly mental health sessions to educate Kenyans on how to deal with certain problems.
