After 3 days of sobbing, Anne Nanjumbia has received a huge breakthrough and sigh of relief as she can now smile after the DCI,managed to arrest the suspect behind the disappearance of her child ,Gladwel Zawadi from Funyula on November 16.
Electine Obonyo,was pounced on and arrested by police officers last evening.At Mabatini area in Busia and baby Zawadi rescued in good health, following a 3day meticulous search and tracking from a witness report.
Anne Nanjumbia,was reunited with her child as she sobbed uncontrollably before the officers.
The child was stollen when the nanny was doing her house chores a step from a doorstep. Its when she turned back and found the baby missing. Whereby, a report of the missing child was filed at Funyula police station.
The suspect is now being detained at Bumala police station awaiting to be arraigned in court,so that she can answer the charges.
