'Women Arrested Over Spiking Men's Drinks In Bars

It has been reported recently of women spiking men's drink with drugs which they referred to as 'mchele' and stealing from them after the drink making them become unconscious and sleeping. This act has seemed to have grown since reported cases by men who have been spiked and robbed has become quite alarming.

This act has come into consideration after the Mirema incident. A man named Samuel Mugo was shot 7 times by unkown man in his car and left dead in Mirema. It was later investigated by the Director of Criminal Investigation leader George Kinoti and was discovered that the man used women to spike drinks of men in popular Nairobi bars and stealing from them expensive things and money leaving them in deep sleep and in unconscious state.

The DCI went on with their investigation and were able to arrest and revealed 12 women whom they referred to as 'basmatic babes' who worked for the Mirema man who was shot dead. This operation continued as they arrested other women who spike drinks in bars. This incident has however left questions and worry to men who drink in bars in fear of being spiked.
