Good News As The Cop Who Packed G-3 Riffle With 20 Bullets To Kill His Wife Is Finally Arrested

Good news has emerged from Kiambu County about the officer who disappeared with a G-3 riffle with 20 bullets is finally arrested. It was reported that Prison warder Edwin Omuse attached to Kangeta GK prison had left his duty station armed with a G3. He was believed to be heading to Thika with the intention of killing his girlfriend .

Further reference is made to Thika Police Station at 1700hrs, where it was reported through a police informant that the said warder was in a hideout within Kisii Estate, Thika Town.

DCI Officers from Thika West backed by DCI Hqs SSU team managed to accost the suspect inside the house of his girlfriend one Linet Murunga a student at MKU University Thika main campus where he was waylaying the girlfriend to return to the house.

He was apprehended and search conducted where a G3 riffle serial number 77098145 with 20 rounds of 7.62 mm all wrapped in a sack recovered . The operation was swift and professionally conducted with no injury to Police or Civilians. Scene processed by CSI Thika West and rifle kept as exhibit.
