Residents of Mukuru slums in Nairobi County are still finding it hard to come to terms with an incident whereby two decomposing bodies were found dumped in Ngong River on Wednesday.
According to the police reports, it is alleged that bodies might have been thrown at an unknown place and were swept to the area by the fast the moving water of the river to the area.
Preliminary investigations from the police indicate that the bodies might have stayed for over two days since they were badly decomposed.
The identities of the bodies has not yet been done since the bodies were badly decomposed. The bodies were taken to the mortuary awaiting autopsy. The police have asked members of the public, whose kins are missing, to go to the City Mortuary to see if the bodies belong to their loved ones.
