Having a misunderstanding with your partner is normal for every relationship, how you handle your fights is what will really determine how you move forward. During a fight your partner may say things to you that they really didn't mean and can hurt you but you should learn to forgive them.

Taking responsibility is a great step to moving forward after a misunderstanding. You can also acknowledge the damage you have done to your partner and be remorseful for what you have done. After acknowledging the problem the next step is finding solutions on how to fix the problem.

Finding out where the real conflict lies and when you do that you can easily find a solution that is okay for both of you. Your partner should also involved and take into consideration of what their opinion is.
