Birth and early life
She attended Likuyani primary school in Kakamega for her primary education and later proceed to Butere Girls High School where she did her form 1 to form 6 secondary level education. She passed with flying colors and proceeded to University of Kenyatta where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Education. She also holds a Masters degree in Arts from Catholic University of Eastern Africa.
Marriage Life and Career
She is married to the deputy president William Ruto and is the current second lady. Together they have six children.
She has continued to fight for the rights of women and has empowered them through various ways. She started a number of organizations in the country to empower women and help them meet their daily needs.
