Traditionally, young men and women were married after the initiation process. Marriage was sacred and was a lifetime commitment to both parties as it was meant for child bearing and increase in status quo. In the modern world people still marry but with totally different reasons. Some marry because of fun while others just to make their parents and peers happy. This has often led to increase in divorce cases in the current times than traditionally.

As posted by tuko.news, a woman in Tanzania by the name Rebecca shocked citizens after she narrated to a court how the husband denied her conjugal right for 21 years. She continued by saying that she endured the pain of not bearing children or even sometimes crying and praying to God to please help things change. When she couldn't take it any further, she headed to court for a divorce and possibly continue with her life.
On further inquiry the woman said that the husband was suffering from a condition that enabled him not to have any attraction to her. Her persistent efforts to help solve the situation bore no fruits as the husband was always adamant to change. The court granted her the wishes and ended the relationship that had troubled her for so long.
