Taking to Facebook sharing about a couple friend that recently got married, the longtime activist cum politician Boniface Mwangi has advised young people to consider alternative marriages other than the celebrated wedding that ends up bankrupting most young couples.
Having dated for 6 years, Mwangi says the couple got married, Civil marriage and later convened family and close friends for lunch which ended up costing KES60,000.
Further he says "Get married for you. Stop the peer pressure of expensive wedding. Do you. Love the one you choose! Njeri and l love these two lovebirds," he said in part.
He congratulated the newest couple in town Esther Kazungu and Kibunja .
"Two awesome human beings and l’m so happy they found each other. I wish them marital bliss," he said.
Kibunjah is the only MCee in Kenya with a law degree, Mwangi added calling on the public to hire him for your gigs.
"Kazungu is just amazing by her very existence," Mwangi said while closing his statement with a hash tag penda marafiki.
