How many men can genuinely carry their wives? Women carrying contest is an annual contest that happens in Finland where men carry their partners and their is a reward at the end of it all. It doesn't have to your wive in particular but as long as the woman you will carry is 17 years and above.
The women are supposed to be at least 49 kilograms for one to join the contest and not nothing more than that. The only equipment allowed is a belt worn by the carrier and a helmet worn by the woman. The length of the track is 253.5 meters which each couple is supposed to contest. There are obstacles on their way like two dry obstacles and a water obstacle about one meter deep. Not many who win but the strong ones make it up to the end. Here are the pictures to show you how the content look like:
