A woman in her twenties has emotionally narrated to a Nairobi court the horror she underwent under the hands of an online lover she met on facebook.
The lady identified as Eunice Wangari Wakimbi who still bears the injuries after she was apparently thrown from the 12th floor of a residential building while she was having drinks with the lover.
The suspect Gatama Njoroge is believed to have invited the victim at Ambank house in Nairobi's CBD where the two enjoyed some drinks before the suspect made some sexual advances which she immediately rebuffed.
Gatama was angered by Wangari's actions prompting an altercation that lead to a fight. The suspect is then said to have thrown her from the window. Miraculously she survived but that's after spending a couple of months at KNH. Till today she needs to be aided to walk around.
The suspect is to be charged with causing grievous harm to the victim. The case is still ongoing.
