NTV Crossover Presenter Grace Ekirapa had left her online followers with questions as she talked about addressing the nation. Taking to her Facebook page, the celebrated television host shared a picture of herself accompanied with caption;
"I think I should address the nation!"
This statement ignited mixed reactions among netizens, some asking on what ground she wanted to address the nation as this is something that can only be done by the Head of State. Others however thronged her pictures with sweet messages, appreciating her beauty.
This post comes just one month since she came out to express disappointment at how outsiders were always putting pressure on married couples to have Kids, without knowing what their plans are towards the same.
She stated that is is unfair for strangers to impose such pressure on married couples to the point of throwing harsh words or insults on those who are yet to get children in their marriages. She reminded her followers that it is God who provides children. Part of her statement read,
“What I am saying is, nobody really has control over how life will come to this world or how it will leave. God gives and God takes.
She went on to state that her parents raised her in manner that she will never be mean to somebody just because she has something they don’t. On this, she warned her online followers to be careful about being mean to other people especially those who don’t have because it will be unfortunate if one loses what they have.
She concluded by saying, "Remember, it is God who gives Children, Women and men can only try. May Gods peace be with everybody who has been through a painful experience or experiences and May He restore your Joy and turn your mourning into Dancing.”
