Today one of Carol Kangongo’s lovers who was murdered in cold blood by the said rogue police will be laid to rest. This was after the body of the late left mortuary in Milimani Nakuru for his requiem mass which was attended by both families Ogweno's family and Caroline Kangogo, the police officer believed to be behind his death.
Emotions are expected to run high in Homabay just like they were in Nakuru when the body of the slain cop was released for viewing. The two wives could not hold back their tears when the body of their beloved one was released by the mortuary.
Kangongo on the other hand will be laid to rest tomorrow in her rural home of Elgeyo Marakwet at the family homestead as police continue with their investigations into the cause of her death after her lifeless body was found in her parents' home in what police officers and the family members said was a suicide.
Today at around 10am, Ogweno's body arrived in Kericho. He received a heroic welcome with thousands of Bodaboda Riders and huge crowd turned up to view his body. Police officers had difficult moments in controlling the huge crowd who vowed to see his body being they son and a mentor.
