People have different preferences when looking for a partner to settle down with. They make their choices considering their appearance, level of education, financial status, how they react to things and solve problems.

Most men fear marrying ladies who have a higher level of education than them or those who earn more money than them. They believe that such ladies will look down upon them and their opinions in most things won't matter.
Most women on the other hand prefer settling with men who have a higher pay and education level than them. They have a belief that since men are the heads of families they should be above them in everything.
