One Kenya Alliance has been left in a big dilemma over recent moves by Gideon Moi who is one of the co-principals. The One Kenya Alliance which is yet to be formalized, months after talks began has been seeking the support of other co-principals like Moi who has not yet moved out of the NASA Coalition. Parties, in NASA like KANU are yet to formally disengage from the coalition with ODM. It is said that KANU still has a coalition agreement with the Jubilee Party.
Today Gideon Moi met with KANU delegates from Kirinyaga at Kabarnet Gardens in Nairobi. In his message Moi cherished members who have remained steadfast in supporting and promoting their ideals as a party. He said that they are committed to continue providing a platform, particularly to youth, women and people with disabilities. However, it is reported that the team might have not finalized their talks in the meeting.
Raila's man Gabriel Oguda has recently, claimed that, "KANU Seretary-General Nick Salat says KANU delegates have declined to ratify the decision to join OKA Alliance making them the first Party to TOKA OKA. Asked what will happen since the OKA Chief Sponsor is out, Senior Council Cocomelon couldn't be reached as he was still sitting on the fence."
After the Wiper Party led by Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka and the ANC Party of Musalia Mudavadi moved out of the NASA Coalition, there have high expectations for Gideon Moi to do the same. If KANU is still in agreement with the Jubilee Party will the team really deliver in 2022?
