 Before carrying out a maintenance program on the generator, the following procedures must be followed: verify that the battery is correctly charged, verify that the excitation is correct, verify the oil and fuel levels, verify that the main alternator is single-phase or Three-phase -phase, the refrigerant level in Monitor the chiller, verify that there is a proper connection and that the generator is properly installed and grounded. 

 Now that you have confirmed everything, to check your generator if it is not working properly due to an engine failure, you should now follow these steps: disassemble the engine from your generator from the canopy, remove the nozzles, engine head, push rods , injection pumps, cam followers, camshaft, oil filter, oil drain valve, pistons, piston bearings and finally crankshaft. Finally, clean the components thoroughly, dry them, check for worn parts, and replace them with new ones. Finally reassemble the components and then assemble your reconditioned engine to test that it works well.
